My brother died yesterday
by satinka in"albert" was 55 years old, and the fifth-born of seven children.
i am the second oldest and babysat him often while he was growing up --- and while i was still at home.. yesterday, albert was out taking his usual morning stroll around his small town, when he collapsed on the sidewalk.
the doctors said it was a heart attack.

oh boy. I must have gotten this really wrong because I thought the society taught that Michael was Jesus name in heaven and as the leader of destruction at Armeggedon......maybe it was something my mother made up. as far as the angels go I never could wrap my young mind around "the wheels within wheels...covered in eyes" or the Babylon book. Michael was one of two angels guarding the ark? I don't remember that at all...but then we really had a most difficult time finding other sources. In fact, were strongly discouraged to look outside the society.

Honey, forget the JW crap. It's designed to keep women down. You don't need that. Get a lawyer and protect your children's and your future. Child support thru college. Plus college. in those two months, i have learnt a ridiculous amount of jw history and i now have insight on how humongous of a scam the jw's are.
at first, maybe even a year ago, i would have thought, yeah... the apostates have half-truths and they utilize some truths and then lie about the rest.. well, for the benefit of all the lurkers in here: trust the apostates!

I remember being puzzled as to apostates picketing the assemblies. My mom said not to look at them. There was a woman, I think her name was Bonnie, who started Jehovah's Christian Witnesses here in Seattle. The rumour was she was put out about sisters not being able to wear pants and not being able to give talks. It kept things stirred up for a while.
